Clare's love and passion for small animal care began in her childhood. Throughout the years Clare has owned and cared for a huge variety of small animals including; rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, rats, mice, hamsters and many more. 

Clare's dedication, commitment and knowledge in caring for small animals is evident to anyone who meets her. Clare started rescuing and rehoming small animals in need back in 2020 and ran CCC's small animal rescue alongside her home boarding business for a year; rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming small animals in need & funding everything through her home boarding. In addition to this Clare has also worked alongside animal charities such as the Assisi to assist in complex rescue cases, offering advice and practical support.

Due to this Clare has a wide and varied knowledge base which allows her to home board small animals with complex medical and palliative needs that other facilities can't accommodate.  
Clare saw a huge need for a facility that just catered to the needs of small animals. 

Clare had researched a number of home boarding facilities before setting up her home boarding business 4 years ago but all of these facilities primarily focused on catering to dogs and cats needs. Small animals were not being made a priority at these other facilities and this is why Clare set up Clare's Creature Comforts as a small animal only home boarding service.
